Gas Card
if a person uses a company gas card that was assign to them and no longer works for the company without the company's permission.Once the company found out about it and made a deal with the person to prevent from prosecuting and pay the money back since then this person has paid the principal balance to the company and is arranging to make payment on the interest, can company press charges even if payment in full has been made towards the principal balance?

Your statement of facts indicates that you did not consider paying the gas card charges until the owner put some pressure on you to pay it. That has all of the aspects of a theft.
