Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Ex Girlfriend Claims
ExGirlfriend filed a complaint that I stole her money that she had wired into may account. The money was used to bet on professional sports. San Francisco PD couldn't investigate this, stating that it didn't take place in San Francisco. Oakland PD stated that they would investigate it because the ex girlfriend walked into the bank and deposited the money in Oakland. Actually, the money was wired from the state of Ohio. Because of this, would a PD from Ohio be responsible for handling this issue?? Or does it matter how it arrived into my account.

Re: Ex Girlfriend Claims
You might get lucky and it will all slip through the cracks. Of course, if you hadn't gambled all her money away, she might still be your girlfriend.
