Girlfriends parents hired a private eye type
My girlfriend is 21 and her parents try to control most aspects of her life. She lives with them, goes to college and works. They don't want her to date and she has been sneaking to see me when we can make it work for this entire year despite them telling her not to see me. Her dad told her yesterday that he had hired a shady private eye type to follow us both together and seperately. Wouldn't say how long ago. I believe this person broke in my car and my apartment over the last several months. It was just too convienient and all fits in place and makes sense because both were just ransacked and private info was stolen such as my passport and other papers...nothing expensive or worth anything actually. I can't prove it was this guy they hired but her father is a very shady person. He threatened her by saying the guy carries a gun and follows us both around. I'm not sure if there is anything to be done about this but wanted to check just in case. She is scared to death and I'm looking over my shoulder every second and don't even feel safe in my own house or getting into my car. I'm 29 years old for cryin out loud. ha Thanks for any advice.

Report your suspicions to your local police, and explain to them what you have told us about the investigator.
