Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I do not want to give my name but I need some legal advice desperately asap so here goes: back in the year 2007 I had a traumatic event happen to me but I never told my family or friends about it and was a little confused and disoriented about the whole ordeal. So about a year later I had a meltdown and was hospitalized in a psych ward 4 a few weeks . At that time I was having flashbacks of the event but here's the problem: I falsely named someone else of hurting me ( because I was a little confused still at the time and things were just coming together) instead of the right person who actually did hurt me- so I'm now worried that I might get the wrong innocent person in trouble and I don't know how to go about correcting this??? - its been 2 years and I already tried to straighten things out but just in case the subject comes up what do I do? - I don't need an innocent person involved rather than the real culprit??
