i just need to know the penaltys for graffiti and if its a felony or misdomeanor in the state of california.

As far as I know it is a misdemeanor, but it should be a felony punishable by having your thumbs cut off.

Graffiti is a death penalty offense if you ask the family of Jose Arce, who was killed a few years back for spray-painting freeway column in the Valley. He got what he deserved.
