Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Grand Theft 2nd conviction, deported issue.
I currently found out that a person I was involved with (relationship)had a criminal record of Grand Theft and was deported back to their country of origin. This person has continued to perform the acts that they got convicted for and is illegally back in the U.S. I just found out that I have been conned by this person, leaving me with my pockets empty. They were doing a fraudulent business which I was not aware of. What are some results that can be expected if this person gets convicted?

Illegal entry generally carries a nice long stretch in Club Fed. You might want to consult an attorney to see if there is anybody else (who has money, he probably doesn't) that you can sue on your fraud claim. Watch out for legal time limits.
