Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My grandfather has been in and out of the hospital over the last month, his liver has failed. He lives in California with no realatives living in the area, We live in Texas. My grandfathers neighbor keeps telling hospital staff that she is my mothers sister which is completely untrue and in her doing so we get no notification from the hospital when he is admitted. She has now had access to all of his medical information that she has no business knowing. Im wondering if this is some kind of False impersonation and what, if any legal action can be taken.
Thank you.
