Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

what could happen to a 14 year old minor, that has neverbeen in trouble before and is charged with first degree burglery. He was not caught in the house nor with any of the stuff taken. He was across the street. The police talked to him by hisself. He has been on house arrest for amonth and ahalf.

So what evidence is there against him? Didn't his mommy and daddy ever teach him not to talk to the police? First degree burglary is a very serious charge and if the kid is convicted it will NEVER be erased from his criminal record. He needs a lawyer.

Because of his age, he cannot get diversion. He needs to fight the charges. Its not a strike now, because of his age and the charge, NOW, isn't a strike, but we don't know what changes will occur with regarding to the charge of Burglary. For an adult, the charge is a STRIKE, so I believe its only a matter of time until they make this a Strike for juveniles. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me.............
