How do I stop anti-Semitic hate mail being delivered to my home, and notify the sender accordingly?

You should contact the police. They generally have a hate crime session.
Re: hate mail
If the mail is U. S. Postal Service mail I'd check with the Postmaster of your post office, and follow their procedures. If it's E-mail then reply and ask them to take your name off of their list. I always try to do this very nicely - that is I say pretty please at the end of my request. If they will not comply I'm not sure which branch of the Federal or State Governments handles this but an inquiry at your police department should start the ball rolling. My next call would be to the Attorney Generals' office, or an E-mail to both the Federal and State offices of the respective Attorney Generals. I had this happen once. I kept the mail coming. It was costing them to mail it. And I just threw it away. They were spending money on me that they'd have spent on someone else. So that was my little revenge. You returning it isn't going to change their mind. So taking their money and throwing it away might also be another approach to consider. After all they will simply mail it to someone else who may be gullible enough to believe it.
