Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Hello
Yesterday night myself and some friends of mine wee having alcohol at my residence . We might have been loud for the neighbors so they must have informed the cops. We were about to end the party and came out for a smoke when we saw 4-5 cops standing at our door.
We walked out quietly and were asked to finish it up/pack up and my friends were asked to do leave. While this was happening 2 Police officers entered my apartment flashing lights and i followed them asking officers whats wrong, why r u entering my apartment.
In the mean time a third officer grabbed me from behind stating i touched his arm and resisted. They pushed me to the wall, handcuffed me and took me to the jail where i spent 5 hours.
I am an international student pursuing my masters in Electrical Engineering,and come from a very respectable family(ARMY Background) who has been here for 2 years and will be graduating in May this year.
I have been given a court date .
What should i do because am scared and dont want to ruin my future. Its like a black spot on my white character .
I NEVER ADMITTED THAT I TOUCHED HIM.

Get an attorney and point out to him or her that the police entered your home without a warrant and arrested you without a warrant.
