Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Hey. The other night me and my friends were doing dumb high school stuff. One of my friends threw a paintball out of my car and hit a truck. The truck driver then chased us, and when we stopped to talk to him, he got out and punched me in the face. I drove off, but to exit the parking lot I was in, I had to drive by him again. When that happened, he shattered my passanger side window. He started chasing us again, but we lost him on the highway. I was wondering if I should do anything. Also, he reaked like alcohol. Oh, I didn't manage to get his license plate since I was running for my life, but I have a decent description.
Thanks for any advice.

I wouldn't do anything; I would consider it a lesson learned. Then again, I wouldn't be doing what you guys were doing either ;)
You can try to file a police report if you choose ...but you'd probably have to lie if you did that, since you (guys) were the actual "instigator" or "cause" here, i.e., without doing what you were doing, none of this would have happened. Especially with no license plate, I don't think it would go far even if you choose to report it to the police. Good luck!
