Generally there are no travel restrictions as a condition of summary probation (court probation) but check the court file of your case if you want to be certain. You can also hire an attorney to do it for you. Good luck!
Some countries, such as Canada, deny entry to people with criminal convictions. You should check with Consular's office from the country you want to travel to before you purchase travel tickets. Petty theft is a crime of moral turpitude and could have future consequences on your right to re-enter the United States or to become Naturalized later. Some convictions can cause the initiation of deportation proceedings. You may also want to check in with an immigration attorney about the consequences of your conviction.
Travel restrictions are usually not placed on summary probation matters for a 484 PC. If you were place on formal probation you need to check with your probation officer and might have to get court's permission. Some countries do not permit entry with a misdemeanor.
