Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i was hit first by someone and struck back they called the police and said i assaulted them, there is surveillance footage showing her choke me first can i report her for filing a false report? when she choked me i couldnt breathe and hit her in defense, splitting her forehead and then there was a bit of mutual combat.... can i take any action against her for lying in the report?

Your first priority needs to be dealing with the charges. Worry about taking action against her later. As long as the D.A. thinks you were the aggressor, it won't act against her anyway.
You need a lawyer if you don't have one already. Start looking for one ASAP.
