Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My husband was arrested for meth possession and others charges but was dropped to just felony possession to get probation for 3 years. He then kept testing dirty so he got a violation hearing which he didn't go to so he got a fta. Last night he got arrested for possession again (It shows twice the same exact charge on the booking log, does that mean 2 counts?) and for the fta and felony probation violation. What is he probably looking at in time. Were in California.

You've asked this in other forums as well. He's got a good chance of serving jail.
Its impossible to predict. It depends upon his record, the county, the judge, the DA, etc.What he needs is a good lawyer who can either get him into treatment or can work to decrease the amount of custodial time.
