Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

: Yes my husband got arrested for Transporting, sales and possession. HS 11379(A)TRANSPORT/ETC CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE,HS 11378 POSSESS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE FOR SALE,HS 11377(A)>MISDPOSSESS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. Hes currently on parole (been out a year and a half). He has a strike and a gang enhancement. He has prison priors but none for transporting or sales. They pulled him over for riding a bicycle without a light on the front. They found a eight ball of Crystal meth and $238 which they said were in smal bill currency of $1s, $5s, and $10s. He has paycheck stubs from Jan to Sept 2015 showing he worked and had an income. I also have checks stubs startIng 2015 and am still currently working. Will we be able to use our check stubs to prove thats where the money came from and the drugs were for personal use.
