As your husband was arrested, it seems clear to me that law enforcement believes that your husband either DID know what a friend was doing, and assisted him. If law enforcement didn't believe that, your husband would NOT have been arrested. Your husband NEEDS a lawyer. Contact an attorney in or near your area quickly. I wish you well....................... David Wallin

He can be charged, even if he didn't enter the house if they think he actively participated in some way. In order to charge him, they must think he did something, knowing that his buddy was going to break into the house.

If they can't prove that he knew what was going to happen beforehand, but drove him away afterwards, knowing that he just broke in, he's potentially an accessory, but it's a different charge and is less severe than the burglary charge.

He needs a good criminal defense attorney to aggressively represent him.

First, run-on sentences are difficult to read.

Second, it does not help your husband for you to make claims about what he knew or did not know. Neither you or I know what he knew. We do not know what was discussed in the car between the time he got in and the time of the burglary.

Notice how the periods make the sentence easier to read?

Start over. Figure out what you know for a fact, and what you may have been told by others. What you'll realize is, you don't need answers to convoluted legal questions. He needs a great lawyer.
