Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My husband is being charged with PC 209 b.
They just came with a deal trying to offer him 60 years to life. People say the first deal is always high but I'm quite sure we will need a lawyer who can help fight for his life and get him a lower sentence what should I do I need help. He's currently represented by court appointed at the moment

Any attorney that answers or responds to your question would have to hear all the facts and pose several questions, before anyone can tell you how to proceed. Obviously, this is a serious charge, and one I call a "Life Changer". Call an experienced and dedicated criminal defense attorney at once, and then you will begin to FIGHT for your husband. I wish you well......David Wallin
Ouch.
Without knowing any of the facts (and DON'T post them online), there's no way to know if their offer is ridiculous or not. As you know, 209(b) carries a life term and either he has strikes or other charges and allegations to get him such an exposure. He absolutely needs the best criminal defense attorney he can get. You can search here or in a website (avvo.com) for a local criminal defense attorney. I'd strongly suggest you find someone who focuses on criminal law and who routinely practices in the court where this case will be heard.

I agree with Wallin and Dane. From your zip code it looks like you live in the Bay Area. I have nearly 30 years experience in Bay Area criminal law and I have experience with 209(b) defenses. We certainly should not discuss the facts of the case on line. If you are considering hiring an attorney you may call me at 415-336-7534 for a free consultation.
