My husband has been convicted of two carjacking charges with a gun enhancements. He is due for sentencing January 18th. He was never informed by his lawyer that the enhancements held a MANDATORY minimum of ten years. I held a meeting with his lawyer today and he finally told me the truth about the sentence not being up to the judge bit rather the mandatory minimum sentence. He is willing to comply with us seeing that he misleading us. What would be the next step for us? What should we do?
