Husband frecording wife
Can a husband legally record a telephone convesation between himself and his wife without his wife's knowledge for the purpose of obtaining a confession from his wife of committing a felony?

No. Making the recording would be a crime, and the tape would be inadmissible in any posecution of the wife. It would, however, be admissible in a prosecution of the husband for making the illegal recording.
