Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

my husband is in prison he has served more than half his time and has 7 months to go for a minor drug charge, i need to know if there is anyway for an earlier release or put on ankle monitor due to the fact our 4 year old son just passed away suddenly and our 3 other children which includes the twin of my son that passed away 3 days ago they are traumatized and im trying my best to help our kids while grieving myself. any information will help even if there is nothing we can do. thank you for your time.
