Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My husband has started to recieve unwanted sexual advances via email from a customer at the store in which he is the manager. Immediately after the first email, he told her through email not to contact him again. she has not complied and continues to harrass him. She told him she has been watching him. I feel this is a threat to his safety and our family. So far he has not answered her other emails. Should he file a restraining order? We are in california.

He can file a police report. Technically this is a civil question, not in the criminal category. Some one else may or may not be prosecuted in the future, but your husband is not facing that, and that's a good thing. I'd repost in the Civil section for more responses. Good luck!
