James Goff James R. Goff, Attorney at Law

A 995 motion is directed at the sufficiency of the evidence adduced at the preliminary hearing. It must be heard prior to the trial or has little significance. The motions are not granted often so don't have high hopes. But the attorney must feel that there is some kind of defect in the preliminary hearing or in the charges contained in the information, otherwise she would not make the effort. Good luck.
