Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My ex husbands is ex wife has been harrasing me for as long as as I can remember. She has left

horrible messages, she trashes me to my children, in the past she has kidnapped the kids in the past and I did not file charges. It just happened again. However, now my daughter is 18 years old and I don't know if I have any rights at this point. My daughter has been missing with her for the last 6 days and I have not recieved one phone call from her. This would be my last week with my daughter and the worry and stress I am going through is overwhelming. This is a woman that has also beat me down a flight of stairs, and is crazy and has no right to be with my daughter. She has been divorced from my husband for years. Can I still file kidnapping charges although my daughter is 18? Can I sue for harrasement and intentional emotional stress? What are my rights? Do I have any, I am fed up. She is tearing my kids away from me and destoying my life. As I write

this my daughter is gone with her.

Even adults can be kidnapped. If you believe your daughter was taken against her will, you should call the police.

I agree with Mr. Hoffman. Although she is 18 and may go willingly with anyone she wants, if she was taken against her will, you need to call the police.
