Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I have a hypothetical question, If I'm arrested in my home, apt, hotel room, or any other dwelling owned or rented by me, do police office have the right to search my dwelling because I committed a non related crime there?

If you are asking if they can search the location where you are arrested, then probably so.
If you are asking if they can go to a different location and search there, generally a warrant is needed unless exigent circumstances exist.
