There is no such thing as "illegal living," and the fact that you don't know how someone pays for her expenses does not justify a criminal investigation. The police have better things to do than to investigate where there is no evidence of a crime.

Let's assume for the moment that you're right and that this woman is a prostitute. It doesn't sound like there is a parade of undesirable men marching to and from her door (if there were, you would not base your suspicion solely on her unexplained wealth), so why do you want to have her investigated? She doesn't seem to be harming you in any way, and you have offered no reason to believe she is harming anyone else, either. If you personally dislike her, that is no reason to have the police open an investigation. And if you are in the habit of having people investigated when they don't satisfy your curiosity about their private affairs then I suggest you look for a new hobby.
