Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Can illegal obtained information be used in court
Someone has made access to my state disability account and obtained personal information about me illegally by changing my password. The system allows you to make three attempts at your password and if you can't remember it you are allowed to CHANGE it without any verification by a LIVING person. I only know about it because, after the person obtained my information, I received a notice from the state informing me that a change was made and to call them immediately if I did not make the change. A little late....can this information obtained illegally be used in a trial case against me?

I would need to know what information you refer to and what charges you anticipate.
