Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Is it illegal to post nude pictures of an ex on the internet? I would like to know in accordance to California State Law. And also, If there's a invasion of privacy issue, how does that hold up when the pictures were given essentially as a gift?

It probably wouldn't be a crime (though I can imagine circumstances in which it would), but it would probably subject you to civil liability and/or civil restraining orders. It would also demonstrate that you're a colossal jerk. The same answers apply even if the photos were a gift from your ex, unless she also gave you permission to publish them freely.
