Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Incarcirated person already sentenced
Can someone who has already been sentenced get out early do to
him/her losing their job and/or because their children will lose health benefits? He is in there for 5 old warrants and has no bail. Warrants are for traffic violations and has had a past history of domestic violence. He has been in there since 8/24/08 and is planned to be relase on 10/4 however he will lose his job if he doesn't get out sooner.

Re: Incarcirated person already sentenced
No. Most people who are unable to work because they are in jail get fired. That is not sufficient reason to let someone out early. The loss of the associated benefits that results from being fired is also a typical consequence of being jailed and does not justify an early release.
