Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
RE: indigent representation
Does anybody know if there is legislation (laws) that govern the rights of indigent defendants as it related to expert witnesses and other related rights to 'reasonable' representation' or is it all under 'judges discretion''???

Re: RE: indigent representation
Indigent defendants have a well established right to have public representation including having experts appointed at public expense under the constitutional right to a fair trial.
