Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
informal probation
i'm currently serving 3yrs of formal probation here in reno, nv. but my conviction is in Lassen co. calif. 80 miles away from susanville. Nevada has agreed to babysit me so to speak for calif. how do i go about getting put on informal probation and what would be the criteria for calif. to grant me this?

Not a lot of info. Up to dept of probation in CA. Not likely without very good reason.
