jail alternative programs

i was recently sentenced 6months jail time.the jude had stated that ''all programs available'' except house arrest.i tried to enroll in drp,wwp,ect.but i was told that i have to turn myself in fist.can i go back to court to appeal?if i do,what would the risks be?this is my first time getting in trouble w/the law,and i wouldnt have accepted the deal if i would have known that i would only be able to apply for programs once im in jail.

The proper procedure would be to file a motion to modify probation, not an appeal. However, if the county jail procedure is that you have report for jail before you can apply for a program is the procedure it is unlikely that the court will order that the procedure is changed. Check with your attorney regarding the local procedure.
