Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I went to jail for something I didn't do I was charged with poss of a control substance...on my record it says....Dispo:Pros Rel-Det only/reason unknown.......can someone tell me what this means?

Looks like it was a DA reject and no charges were ever filed as a result of an arrest. What you may want to consider is attempting to get a finding of "factual innocense.". It means that your case was not filed by the DA and your arrest is now deemed to be a detention only. Essentially, it's saying you were not arrested. That entry will stay on your record indefinitely unless you get an order to seal and destroy those records under a petition for factual innocence (Penal Code section 851.8)
