Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Jail Turn-in Date Extension
What is proper format or sentence to present to the judge asking that my turn-in date be extended 45 days? My job does vacation annually and I miss it by 45 days and will hold my job for 2 weeks but not for 30 days. Any suggestions appreciated. 30 days sentence on 2nd DUI.

Re: Jail Turn-in Date Extension
You would request a further stay on the jail sentence. Explain to the judge that if the date for turninging yourself into jail is not continued until, give the judge a specific date, you will lose yourjob.
