Job background check

Does an attorney have to ask for the expongement of something that was lessened from assult to picking up trash on the freeway to pay my time. The city was the one who sued me. Burbank, CA

I'm not sure what you're asking. If you want to know whether seeking expungement is normally part of trial counsel's duty, the answer is no. If you're asking whether you can seek expungement on your own without a lawyer, the answer is yes. Your chances are much better with counsel than without, but you can do it on your own if you want.
