juvenile assault

why can't i get a police report for a juvenile with out an lawyer ? what kind of out come to expect from case assualt w/deadly weapon with no police record 3 witnesses claiming victim was hit w/broken cue stick my son trying to stop fight saw stick picked up and tossed out of way.

Your son needs to be represented by an attorney. The charge of assualt with a deadly weapon is serious. Depending on the circustanes your son could be tried as an adult and sent to state prison. If you cannot afford to hire an attorney the court will appoint an attorney to represent him. The parents may also be represented by a separate attorney. If you cannot afford to hire an attorney request that the court appoint an attorney.
