Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Juvenile citation for misuse of fare media
My 13 year old received a citation
from a security officer for riding our
local commuter train with the wrong
type of ticket purchased. Rather
than buy a $5.00 ticket he
purchased the senior fare for $2.50.
It was forwarded to the juvenile
court for hearing. What might I
expect will happen? Fine or worse?

I believe that it is an $ 80.00 fine. You may want him to plead not guilty. Contact me directly.
