Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

juvenile detention facility

As a parent whose daughter is being detained for 6 months in what I was told to be a 20 bed drug rehab facility (which is not true)and have asked for info about this facility & have yet (2 months) to receive any have taken it upon themselves to cut off my daughter's hair by a male guard. He told my daughter he would only be cutting off one inch. She was not allowed to look in a mirror while her hair was cut off to the ear. Also male guards are viewing the girls room monitors while they are in their rooms. What can I do about this. I want my daughter out of this place. She had stopped doing drugs & had tested negative for all drugs for the past5 months. She violated probation while on house arrest. PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO???

Re: juvenile detention facility

It would appear that either...Counsel of record has to return to Court for a modification of sentence and/or a writ of Habeas Corpus due to unlawful confinement...Counsel can get info re: conditions, but I do not believe that the facility hgas any obligation to directly communicate with the parent concerning policy etc...
