Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I need help with the juvenile law - my daughter will be 21 in two months she has not complied with the terms of her probation and they have issued a warrant for her arrest. Can they break my door down to find her = she is scared to turn herself in because she will have a dirty test and if she does go in how long can she possibly serve
1 Answer from Attorneys
She will be treated as an adult. She should immediately contact her parole officer and see what can be done so that she can flush the drugs out of her system before any retesting. She has to do something to deal with her drug problem or she end up on the streets, in jail, or severly injured by the drugs and/or some other junkie. The police will knock at the door, not break it down. But you can not be in a co-dependent situation helping her throw away her life.
