Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My 15 year son was handcupped and questioned in school regarding an anonymous threat that was made toward a school site policeofficer. He was not advised of his rights byt interragation and acused repeately twenty minuites prior to notifying me. They then took two drawers stating that they looked like the threat and released him. This all of school site in front of his peers and teaches. My quesitons is, has his rights been violated?

Not enough info for a solid answer...one could speculate that the officers know how to skirt the very complex interview vs. interrogation and detention vs. custody issues ( and no, just being in cuffs may not amount to custody for the law...?)plus parental notification issues...yes there is support for the proposition that parents need notified...
