Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Lab Results

I was arrested for possession of a controled substance after the police raided my home and was never shown what was found, nor did they do a lab test on it. If I ask them to show evidence, wouldn't the evidence have to match some kind of a lab test to prove it is the same as what they supposedly found at my home?

Re: Lab Results

If you're criminally prosecuted, after the police report what they have against you to the D. A,. you'll be given an opportunity to review all the evidence that led up to the search warrant. And to the charges being filed. You can hire experts to review all the evidence and confirm any lab tests. Just remember it takes a lot of money to fight these criminal charges. So keep your savings account hidden because the police may confiscate the money gained by drug sales. And you'll need it to defend the present and future criminal prosecutions.
