It's against the law for anybody to possess drugs illegally. Pregnant women face extra consequences such as possible child endangerment charges and the possibility that the baby will be stolen by social workers.

Mr. Stone took the words right out if my mouth, except the part about the baby being "stolen by social workers." In reality, they could take the baby lawfully and the mother could end up losing all of her parental rights. Additionally, the baby could die or be born with major medical problems, possibly including full-blown addiction. This is serious business. If you're the mother, get help. If the mother is someone you know, get help for her.
