Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Laws regarding CPS ethics, rules and regulations

I just recieved placment on my foster children that we are planning to adopt.(from L A / Orange County)

My 16 yr old step daughter claimed alegations against me. The CPS under the foster care for the 2 small children came and removed the children. they claimed it was to keep them safe. Is thier any regulation on the removal of foster care children in this instance?

Is thier any proceedure that CPS has to follow under california law? Hopfully you can help.

Thank You:

Re: Laws regarding CPS ethics, rules and regulations

You are a foster parent. And the agency responsible for the safety of the children took the other kids away. That's what they're supposed to do. As to the care of these children you have very few rights that are superior to the rights of these children to be protected. You signed a contract to be a foster parent. Start there, then look at the various code sections in probably the Health and Safety Code. Start with any code sections mentioned in the contract.
