Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Laws/rights pertaining to a person that is letting a parolee live with them.

I am considering letting my former parole to my house and I want to know where I can find information about his rights, my rights, search/entering laws, etc. Do I have rights or do I forfeit them once I allow him to parole at my house? Is there any forms or letters I should know about or do? He will have served 23 months in Ca. State prison for posession and selling illegal drugs: Crystal Meth.

The parole agent will visit your home, and answer your questions. The agent usually doesn't want to inspect your home. He/she will want to view the room your former will be occupying. You will not be permitted to keep any guns in the house. After the intial visit you'll probably never see the parole agent again.
