Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Should I get a lawyer?

I was arrested back in August for trespassing at a rock concert. The story was I was in the VIP area and left my pass on the table. I saw my friend and left the VIP area to grab him. He, apparently, did not have a VIP pass on him and was being escorted out for trying to sneak into the VIP area. Being that I did not have my pass on me, they associated me with him and (very forcefully) threw me out, even after I tried to explain the situation. As expected, I became very agitated and was then taken by my wrist from the security guard. I pulled my wrist away and was further tazered by police who were passing by. I asked the officers why I was being tazered and they did not respond. They only walked away. The security guard told me ''that--name removed--what I get'' for not listening to him. I was then brought to the security tent and asked to leave the premises. I left, bought another ticket from a scalper and came back in. I was spotted trying to get back to my seat in the VIP section and was escorted to the police tent and arrested. I was forced to sit on a bus with criminals who were arrested for violent acts. My question is, being that I was thrown out with a paid admission, can I now press charges?

He got tazed because he was a drunk jackass. You've got to read between the lines. Come on, the police don't just walk around randomly tazering people.

No action lies for that which he brought upon himself.

Re: Should I get a lawyer?

Concert tickets are revocable licenses to enter property of another. Yours was revoked.

No cause of action there. Sorry.
