Lawyer withdraws after prelim

my son is a co-defendant in a capital case and his court appointed attorney has motioned to withdraw and motion was granted.this is after completing the prelim,which lasted nine days.will my son be stuck with no representation now?i believe my son had an unresovable issue with his attorney concerning his defense.can someone possibly help us out.this is becoming a very stressful situation for us all.

possibly an attorney working pro bono or something.

The court will appoint another attorney to represent him, unless he has asked to represent himself.

Your son has the right to be represented by an attorney unless and until he waives that right. The fact that this particular attorney is off the case just means you need someone else to take over. If your son is able to hire someone new, he should do so. If he can't afford counsel, the court will appoint someone for him. He won't have to go through this on his own.
