leaving the accident scene
if your car was involved in an accident bu you
weren't the driver who is at fault? What if
you were the passenger? If you leave the
scene cause driver is scared is the passenger/
car owner to blame?

If you were the passenger and you walk away from the scene, you have not violated any law. If you get in the accident car and drive away, people are going to think you were driving, and you could be charged with a hit and run unless the driver remains at the scene, admits to being the driver, and exchanges information.
