Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Is there legal action that a parent can take to prevent her 15 yr. old daughter

My 32 yr. old niece recently broke off her relationship with her lesbian lover (35 yrs. old). Since then, the ex has been pursuing or at least encouraging a relationship with my 15 yr. old niece (half-sister to my 32 yr. old niece). The relationship has progressed to lengthy phone conversations and possibly "all night long" visits. My 32 yr. old niece has asked both her sister and her ex to break it off - and emphasized to her ex how wrong it is to mess around with someone who is underage. We have reason to believe that this woman is attempting to seduce my niece (maybe she already has)and therefore we consider her harmful. The mother of my niece has tried to talk to her daughter, tried to discipline her, but has lost control over her daughter. Although there is no proof of any wrongdoing, isn't there something the mother can do? Can she legally stop them from seeing and talking to each other on the phone? Can she get a restraining order against this woman, forbidding all contact with her daughter?

Hello,

Yes, there is something that can be done. The mother of your neice should look into getting a restraining order to prevent this older person from engaging in any possible illegal activity.
