Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Would it be legal to advertise in the newspaper or on craigslist under help wanted to hire a couple and pay them a flat fee, a guy and a girl, to socialize with them while they were being affectionate with each other hugging, cuddling, kissing? I think this would be legal but would hate to be arrested because I didn't know the law.

It sounds like solicitation of prostitution to me. You should be advised that detectives often search craigslist ads like the one you described to bust people.
