Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Is it legal to email a federal law enforcement agency a question and use an alias or pseudonym?
I'd like to ask some questions, but maintain my privacy.

The government would be able to trace the address of the computer and get your (likely) identity ... so I wouldn't do that, if there's anything sensitive. I'd ask an attorney instead. Good luck!

Mostly likely,it legal to email a federal law enforcement agency a question and use an alias or pseudonym, unless there is a threat. There is no law, however, that says they have to answer it.
