Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Legal or illegal Search???
Upon returning from leaving husband at wrk, I arrive home to 3 officers exiting thru my front door and 3 more from my bckyrd, to my truck. They show me pic of my friend Juan who had given parole agent our address and then abscounded immed after, ask me if I know him & whereabouts. I proceed to tell them that, yes Juan stayed here 1 day then left with many of our items in tow, his agent came to our home and we informed him of juans absence. I also informed the officers of the fact that Juan is currently in prison as of over a month ago and why do they not know this and where is his parole agent and why isnt he present? Also, how did they gain access to my home? They claimed they were knocking for Juan so hard that my locked door popped open. But my bedroom window facing bckyrd has no screen and when checked was opened.
Please contact me and let me know if nothing else, what you think of this violation of myself & my family. They found a small amt of herion and syringes in my home and have charged me with this.

You should fight this with an attorney you trust. You have a chance at winning if the judge agrees the search was illegal.
